This is a Christmas carol created in 1871 with words by the English hymn & carol writer William Chatterton Dix to the much older traditional English folk song "Greensleeves".

What child is this, who laid to rest
On Mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping?
