A live recording by Charlie King & Annie Patterson. Many of the songs were recorded at a concert held in October 2018 in Leverett MA. 4 are songs by Pete Seeger - in part as a celebration of upcoming 100th anniversary of Pete's birth in May 2019. These songs are infused with Charlie and Annie's hope, commitment to justice, and sense of humor.

The 2nd volume of Appleseed Recording's "Songs of Pete Seeger" series is a singleCD. It includes cuts by Joan Baez, Dar Williams, Jackson Browne, Arlo Guthrie. There is good reason why this CD is our son Nate's favorite of this series: the songs are powerful, fresh and carry deep conviction in the voices of the singers. My personal favorite is "The Emperor Is Naked Today-o" - recorded by Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer not too long before Dave's tragic death.
Pete accompanies himself on this 59 minute CD made up of 22 infectiously fun songs, especially aimed at kids aged 3 to 7. The extensive insert includes song lyrics and directions for the dances or traditional "play party" games that children can do to these songs. The CD received the Early Childhood News Directors' Choice and the Parents' Choice Awards.
