Water Is Life

This song written by Sara Thomsen was inspired by the struggle at the Standing Rock Sious reservation to stop to Dakota Access Pipleline across their land. The large group of Native and non-Native nonviolent activist who took part were called "water protectors".

As part of their Martin Luther King Day program, a 5th grade class in Los Angeles can be seen singing "Water Is Life" for Standing Rock in the 3rd video.
